What: CEO Interview
When: February 01, 2006
Where: Online
With: Kevin M. Kelly, President and CEO, Proginet Corporation
Wall Street analyst-information service, CEOcast, interviewed Proginet President & CEO, Kevin M. Kelly, to discuss Proginet and the company's long-term growth strategy. The discussion focuses on how Proginet's broad and extensive multi-platform expertise (mainframe, AS/400, UNIX, Novell, Microsoft) has given the company unique capabilities when it comes to integrating an enterprise's existing systems and informational infrastructure.

Mr. Kelly goes on to note that the company is better positioned than ever to deliver on its full potential and achieve its overall growth objectives. The unique security concerns we live with today, as well as myriad regulatory mandates, will drive this growth.

Proginet's business model achieves growth through three major initiatives:
  • Sales (U.S. & International)
  • Technology Alliances
  • Acquisitions
Regarding the latter, Proginet's recent Blockade acquisition is in keeping with the company's policy of acquiring companies and technologies that complement its own – while building out its customer and revenue base.

Alliances, too will be strategically important to Proginet's growth. In its most recent report on managed file transfer (MFT), Gartner says that over the next two years Proginet will "partner with four or more integration suite vendors offering Web services to provide MFT functionality."
