Client-server Hybrid
RocketStream Station™ client interface allows the user to establish multiple connections to RocketStream Servers and other RocketStream Stations, provided that the user has access privileges on those target computers. Station can then push files to or pull files from the target computers.
Station allows the user to tune the quantity of bandwidth, as needed. Depending on the amount of bandwidth available, maximum speed can be more than 30x faster than traditional FTP-over-TCP.
Station can also automate the file transfer process. File transfer jobs can be scheduled, or the user can automatically synchronize to or from a server. This solution also supports hot folders and mirroring with the server.
Enable Server Behavior
Station server capabilities allow the user to define password-protected accounts and share folders for clients to access. Unlike Server, Station has unlimited concurrent client capability.
While acting as a server, Station offers a complete suite of surveillance and control features. External access requires password authentication and can be limited to specified directories. Activity can be monitored, and available bandwidth can be tuned on a case-by-case basis.
Tailor Network Performance
Station uses the RocketStream protocol to send and receive files and provides the administrator with the option to adjust UDP and PDP settings to allow for various bandwidth needs.
