The UK's number one clothing retailer, Arcadia Group operates a number of leading apparel chains and has approximately 2,000 stores nationwide. With integrating all of the businesses and tying them together at the corporate level an increasingly complex challenge, Arcadia looked to Proginet and the company's SecurPass password management solution. The Randstad Group is one of the largest temporary and contract staffing organizations in the world. Active in more than 16 countries worldwide, the company has revenues of €5.7 billion (Euro) and is a market leader in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the UK, and the south-eastern United States.
Management had decided to roll out a new primary business application across the enterprise. An advanced managed file transfer solution would also be required in order to integrate business data over multiple operating systems, including AIX, AS/400, Linux, and Windows. Safeco
Password Management
Seeking to strengthen the competitive value proposition it brings to its 8,000-plus independent agents throughout the U.S., Safeco sought to upgrade its national corporate network. The plan would give remote agents dedicated access to the network and all of their critical business applications. Recognizing that extending the network far beyond headquarters posed significant security challenges, Safeco decided to implement an advanced password management system. As a PPO, Beech Street was significantly affected by HIPAA. Virtually every business process in their enterprise, and every transaction conducted externally, was subject to HIPAA scrutiny.
