Secure, efficient gateway for EDI document exchange
When it comes to information movement and exchange, financial services providers are held to the most exacting business requirements. Operating in an increasingly collaborative B2B environment, you need to exchange high volumes of sensitive data with any number of business systems or trading partners, ensure that it's secure from adversarial forces at every step along the way – all while adhering to stringent compliance mandates and service-level cut-off deadlines.
This is a serious challenge, and failure is not an option. Organizations must work diligently to maximize B2B efficiency, while driving down the cost of their internal processes, and providing greater levels of customer service. This has forced banks, insurance companies, and securities firms to change how they manage their relationships with key business partners. Maximizing interoperability across the board is critical – with every single one of your partners/customers' environments, regardless of the number of invariably disparate sets of business processes, systems and data sources.
Integrate Efficiently Using EDI and AS2: Guaranteed Delivery on the World's Most Secure Document Exchange Platform
CyberFusion Integration Suite (CFI)™, from Proginet, enables financial institutions to achieve the interoperability required to securely exchange information with customers and business partners, and to map the data to your backend systems via XML and EDI translation provided by the CFI Commerce Server. Communications services are provided through the Internet Server, which provides secure Internet EDI transfers and guaranteed delivery using any number of common protocols, including AS2, HTTPs, SFTP, and FTPS. Integration with your back-end systems and applications can be implemented across platforms via the CFI Platform Server.
Specifically, CFI delivers the following:
- » Support for EDI over the Internet using our AS2 compliant EDI communications module. Other supported communication protocols include HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, FTPS and SSH.
- » Guaranteed delivery and checkpoint restart to support your organization's service-level agreements.
- » Extended mapping functionality to quickly and efficiently define and manage transformations from/to EDI, XML, database, variable or fixed length files to a company's business systems.
- » Support of X12, UNEDIFACT and xCBL standards.
- » Simplified trading partner setup.
- » Browser-based front end allows for centralized communications and document management.
- » Built in business process management (BPM) features to allow full integration of a company's business processes to move business documents of any format to/from an organization's back-end systems.
- » Event-driven alert management to allow the end user to receive real-time e-mail notifications of document processing problems.
- » Multiple consistent levels of audit (operations summary, business process, task, file, document and communications) allow an end user to quickly identify and efficiently track document issues. This includes transaction tracking, reporting and data retention with actionable audit trails and persistent queuing.
With the Internet Server providing the connectivity between your systems and your business partners, you'll have the flexibility to communicate over the Internet using a variety of protocols including AS2, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and HTTPS. Alternatively, some organization may choose to continue using a traditional VAN (value added network). CFI Platform Server rounds out the solution, doing the heavy lifting within your organization and across all platforms, linking your EDI processes directly into your back-end applications.
All activity within CFI can be controlled and managed from the Command Center, a centralized interface accessed from any standard Web browser. All reporting and auditing is done from the Command Center.
