Garden City, N.Y. — January 26, 2010—Proginet Corporation [OTCBB: PRGF], a world leader in multi-platform file transfer solutions, today announced that a leading global media andinformation company has selected CyberFusion Integration Suite (CFI)®, Proginet’s flagship solution for managed file transfer, to replace and modernize its global file transfer network for information sharing and business integration.
Under the terms of the agreement, the client, who cannot be named for confidentiality reasons, will deploy CFI globally to modernize its managed file transfer infrastructure, building in critical automation, security, and auditing features, while taking advantage of CFI’s embedded RocketStream acceleration technology, which will enable the organization to transmit large files globally with speeds up to 30 times faster than standard commercial-off-the-shelf applications. The license allows for unlimiteddeployment of CFI across all Linux, Windows, and Mainframe platforms, as well as externally with customers and business partners.
“Global integration and cost reduction were essential to this customer’s selection criteria,” said Kevin Bohan, Proginet’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “They wanted to replace a legacy file transfer system that was functionally limited and difficult to scale. Transitioning to CFI with an enterprise license enables them to integrate all global file transfers, achieving centralized control while driving down costs.”
"This client’s global deployment scenario is a classic example of how CFI can help large organizations integrate operations around the world," said Sandy Weil, Proginet’s President and CEO. "They have business operations in more than one hundred countries worldwide; these operations need to be integrated tightly and CFI’s open architecture enables them to achieve this across all platforms, while also facilitating secure and rapid communication with a large network of external third parties. Furthermore, the enterprise licensing agreement enables them to deploy the technology anywhere, at any time, without limitation or additional cost.”
